Wishlists open for Blood of Mehran

Blood of Mehran launches on October 7th on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the Epic Games Store, and as of today you can wishlist it on every one of them.

It's been a long road. The first sketches of Mehran's lion crest are from 2022; the canyon bridge you've seen in the screenshots was the second environment we built and the last one we finished. Somewhere in between the team doubled, the combat system was rebuilt twice, and Nineveh went from a matte painting to a place you can walk through.

We wanted a sword that felt heavy and a city that felt old. Everything else followed from those two rules.

Why wishlists matter

For a studio our size, a wishlist is the single most useful thing a player can do before launch. Store algorithms notice, and the game gets shown to more people on day one. If you've enjoyed following the project, adding it to your list is the easiest way to help.

What's next

Between now and the 7th we'll publish the launch trailer, a look at the combat system with the design team, and the full list of supported languages. The animation department also has news about Boy and the Sword that we'll share the week after launch.
